Function
Installed in the right console box. Potentiome-

ter (5) is installed inside knob (1). Turning knob
(1) causes potentiometer (5) shaft to rotate.
This rotation changes the resistance of the

variable resistor within potentiometer (5), and a
throttle signal is sent to the controller.
The hatched areas in the graph are error
q
detection areas. If the throttle voltage is within
the area, the engine drops down to low idle.
