Outline
The horizontal air conditioner unit on which
q
evaporator (1) and heater core (2) is arranged
in parallel. Blower motor (4) is driven to to gen-
erate cool and hot air.
Selecting the temperature on the machine
q
monitor controls air mix damper (6) to adjust
the spurting out temperature.
Cooler
The cooler circulates refrigerant through evap-
q
orator (1) to cause heat exchange (dehumidifi-
cation and cooling).
Air taken in by blower motor (4) is cooled with
q
evaporator (1) and then blown out from the
duct and grill.
Heater
The heater circulates engine coolant in heater
q
core (2) to cause heat exchange (heating).
Air taken in by blower motor (4) is heated with
q
heater core (2) and then blown out through the
duct and grill.
