Function
Swing lock and swing holding brake functions
Turning swing lock switch (1) to "ON" locks the
q
swing lock (manual lock) at any position.
Interlocked with the swing operation, the swing
q
holding brake (auto lock) prevents hydraulic
drift from occurring after the swing stops.
Interlocked with the arm retract operation, the
q
swing holding brake is released to reduce the
load on the swing equipment during excavation
work.

• When the L.H. work

lever is set to NEU-
TRAL, the swing
holding brake works
in 5 sec.
• When the L.H. work
equipment control

retract, the swing
holding brake is
released allowing
free swing opera-
tion.
