Other than circulating the refrigerant, it com-

presses the refrigerant gas from the evapora-
tor to high-pressure, high-temperature misty
refrigerant so that it may be easily regenerated
(liquefied) at normal temperature.
Its built-in magnet clutch turns on or off

depending on the evaporator temperature and
refrigerant pressure.
