Swing holding brake release function
If the controller gets out of order and no swing

is possible because the swing holding brake
does not work properly, operating swing hold-
ing brake release switch (2) releases the swing
holding brake and allows swing operation.

a Even if the swing holding brake release switch
is set to "RELEASE", the swing holding brake
is not be released while the swing lock switch
is set to "ON".
a When the swing holding brake is released,
only the hydraulic brake with the safety valve is
effective for swing. So, note that, when the
swing stops on a slope, a hydraulic drift may
occur.
a Swing holding brake release switch (2) is of the
alternator type. When the switch is turned to
"RELEASE (a)" position, the swing lock moni-
tor in the machine monitor will blink.
