8.7 Maintenance and Cleaning

Before cleaning the monitor or the sensor, make sure that the equipment is switched
off and disconnected from the power line.

Do not subject the sensor to autoclaving.

Do not immerse the sensor into any liquid.
4
Do not use any sensor or cable that may be damaged or deteriorated.
Cause
The SpO
sensor may be

disconnected
from
patient.

Make sure the sensor is
attached to the patient's
finger
or
another
appropriate position.
If no pulse information is
displayed after 30s passes,
check whether the sensor
is connected with the
patient's
finger.
