Measurements, Calculations,
and Reports
Two categories of measurements and calculations are available on the
ultrasound system: general and exam-specific.

General Functions

2D-mode and M-mode imaging have up to eight (8) distance sets of
caliper measurements per image
Area and circumference: up to eight Ellipse, Trace, Spline, and Cross
measurements per image
Doppler has up to eight (8) points available on the waveform display
Ratio Calculations

General 2D-Mode Measurements and Calculations

Angle
Distance/Depth
Circumference (using a Trace, Ellipse, Spline, or Cross method)
Area (using a Trace, Ellipse, Spline, or Cross method)
Volume (using a 2-Plane Volume or a 1-Plane Volume)
