2D-Mode LCD Selections

You can access the 2D-mode LCD selections by rotating the
FUNCTION SELECT control on the LCD panel to highlight the 2D tab on
the LCD.
LCD Selection Description
Controls the overall contrast resolution of 2D-mode images.
DR
(Dynamic Range)
Persistence Creates a visible smoothing effect by maintaining more lines of
image data for each frame of imaging when the setting is
increased.
Edge Enhance Distinguishes the edges of a structure.
Gray Map Selects a gray (processing) map.
Focus For all curved, linear, or phased array transducers, selects the
number of focal zones.
Use the FOCUS control on the control panel to position the
markers.
FOV/POS Resizes and repositions the field of view using the trackball.
A-mode Activates or deactivates A-mode.
Reset Map Resets the current Gray Map curve back to the original factory
position.
Scan Angle (Available for the SONOLINE G50 system only)
Adjusts the scan angle of the Endo-V II mechanical sector
transducer.
Modify Map Allows changes to the shape of the current Gray Map with the
(Processing)
exception of Map L.
