Description
Adjusts the contrast and/or brightness of the volume. Roll the
trackball to the left or right to adjust contrast. Roll the trackball up
or down to adjust brightness.
Note: This selection is also available on the LCD.
Automatically assigns optimal values for the contrast and
brightness to the volume.
Note: This selection is also available on the LCD.
Emphasizes the shaded, rough portions of the volume, which can
help distinguish portions of the volume surface.
Emphasizes volume data with peak brightness values.
Emphasizes volume data with average brightness values and
increases translucence.
Displays a colored plane for each slice in the volume quadrant.
(The green plane represents the slice in the yellow-outlined
quadrant. The other planes are each colored to match the outline
of the quadrant containing the represented slice.) Indicates the
orientation and position of the slices in relation to the volume.
Adjusts the low and high thresholds for opacity (Noise Cut and
Penetration, respectively), as applied to the volume. Roll the
trackball up or down to adjust Noise Cut. Roll the trackball left or
right to adjust Penetration.
Note: This selection is available for the Shaded rendering
method only.
Changes the applied opacity curve by either widening or
narrowing the range between Noise Cut and Penetration.
Roll the trackball up to narrow the range and create a more
saturated image. Roll the trackball down to widen the range and
increase detail resolution.
Magnifies the volume. Roll the trackball up or to the right to
increase magnification. Roll the trackball down or to the left to
decrease magnification.
Note: This selection is not available for the Planes rendering method.
