How to prepare your samples

The handling of solvents, samples and reagents can hold health and safety risks.
Damage to the 2200 TapeStation instrument
C A U T I O N
DNA ScreenTape, Ladders and Loading Buffers should be stored vertically between 2 – 8 °C
N O T E
in their original unopened packaging. Partial ScreenTapes (those that contain lanes run on
previous occasions) should be returned to the box and stored vertically between 2 – 8 °C for
a maximum of 2 weeks.
All ScreenTape products (including ScreenTape, Ladders and Loading Buffers) should be
N O T E
used by the expiry date detailed on the attached labels. Once the packaging has been
opened, ScreenTape must be used within 14 days.
Partially used ScreenTapes must be run with the same laptop as previous use to ensure
shelf-life validity.
2200 TapeStation
When using/handling the ScreenTape and working with these substances observe
appropriate safety procedures (for example by wearing goggles, safety gloves and
protective clothing).
Always follow good laboratory practices and adhere to the guidelines established in
your laboratory.
Refer to product material safety datasheets for further information.
The volume of substances should be reduced to the minimum required for the
analysis.
Use only the recommended consumables and reagents with the 2200 TapeStation
system.
