Probable cause
The barcode has not
been scanned by the
2200 TapeStation.
All the lanes have
already been used on
this piece of tape.
Tip buckets have not
been emptied
effectively.
A power outage
occurred during a
run, at a stage where
the instrument
expects to be holding
a pipette tip.
The barcode has not
been scanned by the
2200 TapeStation.
The scanner has
successfully decoded
a barcode, but the
content is not that of
ScreenTape.
Solution
Insert the ScreenTape again, ensuring that the bar
code is facing away from the sample block and
towards the front of the instrument.
Insert a new ScreenTape into the 2200
TapeStation.
Remove all used tips from the tip buckets.
Follow on screen instructions and the 2200
TapeStation will remove the tip.
Power cycle the 2200 TapeStation and restart the
laptop. If the problem persists, contact the TestKit
Manufacturer.
Check that the ScreenTape has been inserted in
the ScreenTape holder.
