11. Temperature control units
11.1 Temperature control unit TCO
The sample is in the measuring gap of the sensor system.
The rotator is driven by a preset speed (n). Due to its viscos-
ity, the sample is resistant against the rotation. This resist-
ance gets active as (braking) torque (Md) at the measuring
shaft of RV1. The torque is measured.
From the values of speed, torque and measuring system ge-
ometry (system factor) the installed PC calculates the the
