NOTE
• Make sure the power cables are connected to the R/L1, S/L2, and T/L3. However, the FR-CS82S is not equipped with terminal
T/L3. (Phase need not be matched.) Never connect the power cable to the U, V, and W of the inverter. Doing so will damage
the inverter.
• Connect the motor to U, V, and W. (The phases must be matched.)
Terminal function description
Connect these terminals to the commercial power supply.
Do not connect anything to these terminals when using the high power
factor converter (FR-HC2) or the power regeneration common
converter (FR-CV).
Connect a three-phase squirrel-cage motor to these terminals.
Connect the brake unit (FR-BU2), power regeneration common
converter (FR-CV), or high power factor converter (FR-HC2) to these
terminals.
For earthing (grounding) the inverter chassis. Be sure to earth (ground)
the inverter.
