Transient Transmission

Data can be communicated when a request is issued unlike cyclic transmission. Direct access to buffer memory areas and
devices in other stations can be performed in transient transmission.
Communications using a dedicated instruction
Unlike cyclic transmission, a large capacity of data can be communicated at any timing using dedicated instructions. For
details on dedicated instructions, refer to the following.

Access from other stations using an engineering tool
Seamless access to the following networks can be performed using an engineering tool.
• Ethernet
• CC-Link IE Controller Network
• CC-Link IE Field Network
• MELSECNET/H
• MELSECNET/10
Access to other networks can be performed using an engineering tool only when the master/local module is
connected to the end network. The master/local module cannot be used as a relay station.
