Environmental chambers TC30 and TC40

11.1

Safety instructions

CAUTION
Risk of burns from hot chamber and tubes
At higher operating temperatures contact with the chamber and tubes could cause
burns.
Wear heat-resistant protective gloves.
Allow the chamber to cool down before working on it.

In order to avoid soiling the viewing window, do not touch it with your fingers.
Avoid contacting the window with sharp objects.
11.2

Temperature range and method of temperature control

TC30: -10°C – 90°C by using a connected thermostat,
TC40: -30°C – 160°C by using a Peltier element. A liquid thermostat must also
be connected for counter-cooling.

Do not set the temperature to values outside the given temperature range.
Otherwise the chamber could be damaged.
The temperature values refer to the centre of the base plate.
