Multi-dosing unit DS3226-3228

This chapter covers the installation steps necessary when receiving a DSA100 with a
multi-dosing unit DS3222-3228.
For the steps necessary when the dosing unit was ordered afterwards please
read ch. IV and V in the appendix.
For installing a multi-dosing unit the DSA software must already be installed
( DSA software manual).
Notes concerning usable test liquids

The valves and fittings of the dosing unit are not resistant against all liquids.
Only use liquids tested by KRÜSS which are listed in chapter VI of the appendix.
Please contact KRÜSS if you want to use liquids that are not listed there.

Initialising the syringe drives

CAUTION
Risk from escaping liquids (toxic, highly flammable or corrosive)
If syringes are already inserted and filled, liquid which escapes during the
initialization can lead to a risk depending on the hazard class of the liquid
Empty the syringes and lead the liquid into a waste container before starting
the initialization.

For DSA1 only: In order that all available syringes can be controlled with the
DSA1 software, an initialisation file matching the dosing unit must be copied
into the installation folder of the DSA1 software ( Appendix VII).
1. Switch on the DSA100 and start the DSA program.
2. Only for DSA1: Click on the Icon
3. Select the tab sheet
