If only the z-axis is present then no fixing strip is required; the axis is screwed
directly onto the spacer.

Not always are all strips used which were delivered. Keep the unneeded strips
save. They may be required for the occasion of conversions.
7.3.1

Mounting an x- or y-axis on a spacer

1. Place the axis on the built-in spacer and hold it firmly. The axis should be
positioned so that the spacer is located below the centre of the range of
movement of the axis.
2. Place the non-threaded fixing strips on the spacer so that the cramping edges
fit inside the ridges of the axis.

3. Slide the strip along the axis so that the openings in the strips and spacer lie
above each other.
4. Screw down the strips with four screws.
