8. Slowly press the syringe piston upward manually in order to press the test liquid
through the refill tube. Absorb escaping liquid.

KRÜSS recommends: Press the piston upward to a point just below the
piston holder. Thus, only a small amount of liquid will be pressed into the
storage vessel when inserting the piston.

As an alternative, the piston holder can be put into position with the help of
the dosing function of the software ( DSA1/DSA3/DSA4 manual).
9. Screw the cap onto the filled storage vessel. Let the tube dip into the liquid so
that no air can be enclosed. Push the tube far enough through the opening for
it to reach the bottom of the bottle.
10. Lead the knob of the piston into the piston holder. In order to do that, correct
the piston position until the knob fits into the fixture.
Fasten the knurled screw.
11. Puncture the silicone seal with one of the needles supplied. Leave the needle in
the hole.
