16 SNMP
The Headstation has a powerful feature, SNMP, available free of charge in every Headstation version.
With SNMP you can retrieve any data via Ethernet that has been collected by the ComBricks system. This SNMP
data can be used by network management tools or SCADA systems to visualize the collected data.
This data ranges from Bargraph data (voltages) to statistics and Live List information. You can also retrieve the
Headstation temperature or power consumption for example. This turns a SCADA system into a versatile
monitoring or alarming station.
The SNMP MIB (Management Information Base) file, which is available for download on our website, contains
the descriptions for all items. This MIB file should be used in a management tool or MIB viewer to retrieve the
data from ComBricks.
