10.4 LEDs

The table below explains the function of all the LEDs on the front plate of the Fiber Optic module:
RDY
Module has NOT been
powered / initialized yet.
RX1 / RX2
NO signal, or NO valid
telegrams detected on this
channel, or channel is off.
LV1 / LV2
Signal quality is good,
or channel is off.
ER1 / ER2
No errors, or channel
is off.

10.5 Setting up Fiber Optic alarms

The webserver and the FO Ring module are capable of sending alarms on critical events in the fiber connection.
The following events can be reported:
Signal quality deterioration and quality improvement
Ring failing and ring established
On the module status page all vital module information is displayed. You can see the detected baudrate, and
channel 1 and 2 signal status. Also the ring status is displayed.
