Bridged tap test

In order to run this script as desired, the following items are
required:
– The HST must be running software version 7.30.12 or
higher.
– The copper measurement board (the "CAT" board) must
be revision 510 or 912. These support the "green on
ground" feature used with the RFL measurement to deter-
mine the leg balance. (To check the revision, press the
System key, select Options/Revs/Copyright from the
Tools menu, and then select the Revisions soft key.)
– The far end device must be a UFEDIIB.
The following procedure describes how to run a Series Fault
test.
To run a Series Fault test
1
Connect the Tip (A), Ring (B), and Ground (Earth) leads
to the line under test.
2
Access the Custom Scripts menu.
3
Select OneCheck Series Fault.
4
Select the UFEDIIB pair. The test begins.
As the test runs, the status and results of the test are
displayed.
The Bridged Tap script runs a TDR test and then an Opens
test toward a UFED to determine if the line under test has a
bridged tap and the length of the tap.
