The Auto Test features of the HST-3000 allow automatic
testing (scripts). Features include the following:
– Good Pair Check — Out-of-service pair quality check
– Closeout Test — A Bellcore (Telcordia) T.136 five-point
test sequence
– Wide band auto test — Technology pair test with FED
– Copper Expert — Tests the pair and then provides advice
on how to proceed.
To access the copper auto test scripts
1 Press the Auto Test navigation key.
2 Press the Copper soft key.
The Copper Scripts menu appears.
If you have purchased a UFEDIIB accessory, additional
custom scripts are available.
To access the custom auto test scripts
1 Press the Auto Test navigation key.
2 Press the Custom soft key.
