The arrow keys are only available if transmitting a standard
tone and will move among only those frequencies.
7 Optional. To change termination, do the following:
a Press the Actions soft key.
b Select Termination.
c Select a termination.

8 Press the Results soft key to save or clear the results.
9 Press the Stop soft key.
Transmitting tones is complete.
Some provisioning situations involve four wires; one example
is DDS, which requires a transmit pair and a receive pair. You
can use the HST-3000 to test both pairs simultaneously.
To measure loss on both pairs
1 Connect the T, R, T1 and R1 to the pairs under test (a
total of four connections for two lines).
2 Press the Actions soft key, and then select Simulta-
neous Tx/Rx Tones.
3 Select the tone you want to transmit.
4 Optional. To send a specific tone, do the following:
