BRAKE PAD/DISC

BRAKE PAD INSPECTION

The front brake pads require replacement if the
groove in the sides of the pads reaches the edges of
the brake disc.

BRAKE PAD REPLACEMENT

NOTE
Do not disconnect the brake hose when re­
placing the brake pads.
Remove the pin bolt caps and loosen the pin bolts.
Remove the caliper bracket bolts and remove the
caliper from the fork leg.
Push the pistons all the way in to allow installation
of new brake pads.
Remove the two pin bolts, then the brake pads.
