Balancer Weight Removal; Bearing Replacement - Honda MBX50 Workshop Manual

CRANKSH AFT/TRA NSMISSIO N
Measure the O.D. of the mainshaft and counter­
shaft.
SERVICE LIMITS:
A: 16.93 mm (0.667 in)
B: 16.44 mm (0.647 in)
C: 18.93 mm (0. 745 in)
D: 19.43 mm (0.765 in)

BALANCER WEIGHT REMOVAL

Drive the balancer wight out from the right crank­
case.

BEARING REPLACEMENT

Remove the balancer weight left bearing and main­
shaft left bearing from the left crankcase with the
special tools as shown.
Remove the countershaft left bearing from the left
crankcase.
Remove the mainshaft right bearing from the right
crankcase.
