Swingarm Removal; Swingarm Inspection; Swingarm Installation - Honda MBX50 Workshop Manual

REAR WHEEL/BRAKE/SUSPENSION
SWINGARM
REMOVAL
Remove the rear wheel (Page 13-3).
Remove the drive chain cover.
Remove the shock linkage mud guard from the
linkage.
Remove the swingarm-to-shock absorber linkage
bolt.
Remove the swingarm pivot bolt and the swingarm.
INSPECTION
Check the seingarm for cracks or damage.
Check the bushings for damage or other defects.
Check the chain slider for wear or damage.
INSTALLATION
Install the torque link and chain slider on the
swingarm.
Install the swingarm.
TORQUE: 70-85 N.m (7.0-8.5 kg-m,
Install and torque the swingarm-to-shock linkage
bolt.
TORQUE: 40-50 N.m (4.0-5.0 kg-m,
:29 - 36 ft-lb)
Install the shock link mud guard.
Install the rear wheel (Page 13-5).
