Brake Caliper Inspection - Honda MBX50 Workshop Manual

HYDRAULIC BRAKE
Remove the p in boots.
Lift out the p iston and dust seals b y first p ushin g
them into the c y linder.
Clean the cali p er g rooves with brake fluid.
Re p lace the p iston and dust seals with new ones.
INSPECTION
Check the cali p er c y linders for scorin g , scratches or
other dama g e.
Measure the cali p er c y linder I.D.
SERVICE LIMIT: 25.450 mm (1.0020 in)
Check the p istons for scorin g , scratches or other
defects.
Measure the cali p er p iston 0.D.
SERVICE LIMIT: 25.300 mm (0.9961)
