ALTERNATOR
AUER R REMOVAL
('I) LEFT CRANKCASE COVER
On the Deluxe model, remove the under cowl
(Page 14-3).
Remove the flange bolts and remove the left c rank­
case cover.
(1) UNIVERSAL HOLDER
Remove the 12 mm nut attaching the flywheel.
ROTOR (2) ALTERNATIOR ROTOR (FLYWHEEL)
(1) PULLER
Remove the flywheel.
NOTE
Keep the woodruff key in a parts rack so it is
not Jost.
