SERVICE INFORMATION
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
a All clutch and kickstarter maintenance and inspections can be accomplished with the engine installed.
e Make balancer timing adjustment when the clutch outer and primary drive gear are removed.
e Use the UNIVERSAL HOLDER to remove and install the primary drive gear.
e Remove all gasket materials from the mating faces of the cases.
m Do not allow dust and dirt to enter into the cylinder and crankcase.
• Avoid damaging or scratching the case mating surfaces.
e Before inspecting, clean all removed parts in solvent; dip the parts in clean transmission oil before installation.
