Signal mode for Record bus:
•
Stereo: The source will be active as a stereo source on the Program 4 Record mix.
If Phone or Codec Left, otherwise Right: The source will be active on the right channel for 2 channel phone
•
recordings on Program 4 Record mix.
•
Summed-Mono to Left: The source will be active on the left channel of Program 4 Record mix.
•
Summed-Mono to Right: The source will be active on the right channel of the Program 4 Record mix.
Fader trim gain (-25 .. 25 dB):
Pre-fader trim gain attribute. The trim gain will allow the adjustment of the signal level at the input of the fader.
This can serve for compensation of a too low or high level, or shifting the normal operation point on the fader scale.
Panorama position (-24 .. 24):
Channel's "panorama" attribute will determine the initialization position of the PAN control at source loading.
There are 24 steps in either direction. -24 is full pan to the left (3dB gain to left content and right content off). Each
step away from 0 (unchanged imaging)is a tenth of a dB change.
Equalizer:
Three bands of control known as Low, Mid, and High. Low band covers the range from 20 hertz to 320 hertz.
Mid band covers the range from 125 through 2000 hertz. The high band range is 1250 through 20000 hertz. The
center frequency of each band is defined and gain value is defined. The bandwidth control is based on gain applied.
This is known as quasi-parametric. The Low mode is a function of the low band gain value, therefore cannot be set.
The High mode can be set as either shelf or peak. The shelf option will maintain the gain from the center frequency
to the end of the band. The peak option will return the gain to 0 at the end of the band; therefore bandwidth will be
dependent on the gain applied.
Source availability:
All surface channels and monitor locations are shown and permit (check) or not permit (no check) the source from
being loaded. By default all options are checked at source creation. Note: If additional faders are added after profile
creation, the profile needs to be edited in order for the source to be permitted to new channels. Starting in version 3.2,
there is an "All Channels" option which will toggle the selection of all channels (one click vs many clicks).
