Group Start Screen Options

Group Start
Fusion contains a Group Start feature that enables the user to turn several faders ON by pressing the ON key of
the Master fader; useful in roundtable discussions or multi-talent bullpens.
This function can be controlled in this screen, or by setting the option in each individual Channel Options screen.
• Master: Designates this fader channel as a Group Start Master. Pressing its ON or OFF keys will turn
Slave faders on and off as well.
• Slave: Designates this fader channel as a Slave. It will mirror the ON/OFF state of the Group Start Master
fader.
• Independent: Normal ON/OFF operation.
When done editing the Group Start options, be sure to click the Save Changes button. You'll be returned to the
Show Profile options screen.

Automix Screen Options

Automix
Fusion has an automix feature that allows for smart mixing of designated channels to control group conversations
or provide ducking effect when talking over music beds. The screen option permits defining settings for once a show
profile load is initiated.
• Check box on each channel assigns the channel to the automix
• Weight drop down provides a priority consideration to the channel in the smart mixing. A weight of 10 is
the highest priority where 1 is the lowest.
• Attach Time is a global setting for how quickly the level detector will occur (10ms – 100ms)
• Release Time is a global setting for the level detector to reset (100ms – 1000ms)
• Pre or Post Fader selection designates where in the chain the gain adjust will occur. Sampling always oc-
curs pre the fader.

Phone Screen Options

The Phone screen is used when setting up a Telos talkshow system for use with your console. Please refer to
Chapter 5, "Working With Phone Hybrids", for details. If no Call Controller module is installed, this screen will be
empty.
