Description
Ink cartridge is inserted into a
wrong Ink cartridge slot.
This type of ink cannot be
used for this printer.
An improper Ink cartridge is
inserted.
IC chip is broken.
Waste fluid tank is full.
(Stops operation)
Connector cap is off the
connector.

Media ejection mode is set to
"Take-up".

The Media detection menu is
set to "Off".

The width of the media
installed does not match the
color target to be measured.

software are abnormal.

Remedy
Insert it into the correct Ink
cartridge slot.
Contact your local MUTOH
dealer.
Contact your local MUTOH

Replace with the new Ink
cartridge.
Dispose of waste fluid.
Install Connector cap to the
connector of
Spectrophotometer on Print
head.
Change the setting to "Off".
Change the setting to either
"Width" or "Top&Width".
Remove the media currently
set, and set a correct color
target.
Check the settings of color
calibration or color profiling
of the RIP software.
Load new media and start
printing and measuring the
color target again.
Close Front cover and
Maintenance covers on both
sides of the printer.
Printing or measuring is
cancelled. Start printing and
measuring the color target
again.
Check the communication
requirements between the
printer and your PC.
