7. Performs Micro Adjustment Print.
a. Display the Dist.Adj menu on Operation panel in the same way as in Step 1.
b. Press the [+] key or [–] key on Operation panel to select "PF4: Micro Print".
c. Press the [Enter] key on Operation panel.
• For VJ-2638/1638X, "Warming up Skip ->E" is displayed on Operation panel.
(This is not displayed for VJ-1938WX/1638WX since it does not perform warming up.)
CAUTION
• While "Warming Up" is displayed, do not touch Platen and Media guide. They
become very hot and you could burn yourself.
NOTE
• You can start printing during warming up.
4.4.7 Starting printing during warming up (VJ-2638/1638X)
• "Printing" is displayed on Operation panel.
(VJ-2638/VJ-1638 starts printing after warming up is complete.)
• Starts micro adjustment printing.
• Check the pattern and micro change value.
• In the pattern, look for a place that has least white lines or overlapping in images.The
number printed below the adequate pattern is the micro change value.
• After the micro adjustment printing is completed, "PF4:Micro Print" is displayed on
Operation panel.
