For the first exposure with target movement 6 cm,
manually adjust the adapter so that the chin support is in
the highest position.
Guide the patient to the unit so that they are facing the
chin support. The patient can sit or stand during the
procedure.
Adjust the X-ray unit to suit the height of the patient. Press
either of the height adjusting buttons until the chin support
is under the patient's lower lip.
Ask the patient to grasp the patient handles.
Adjust the volume position as described in section 12.3
"Adjusting volume position" on page 57.
Take the first exposure as described in section 12.4
"Taking an exposure" on page 60.
For adults:
Manually adjust the adapter so that the chin support is in
the lowest position.
For children (smallest patient size):
Manually adjust the adapter so that the chin support is in
the second lowest position.
