With respect to the
replacement procedures of

(11) Attach protective cover for high voltage power supply. And then connect the
connector cables and batteries on EZJ133 board and EZJ125 board.
(12) Mount EZJ134 board (with fixing metal plate attached). Note that clamp the wires
of CN1 and CN3 on the bac of metal plate, and then connect the connectors of
CN1 and CN3.
(13) Insert system data USB memory and turn the main power switch ON. And then
download is executed automoticlly.
(14) When IJP is restarted, the message of "Memory Fault T" is displayed. Close this
message by pressing "Close " button.
(15) After the download is completed, execute "System reset" on the second screen of
"Maintenance menu" of Service personnel maintenance mode.
(16) Confirm "serial number" on "Unit information" screen. And then confirm the date
and time displayed.
(17) Restore the data from the backup USB memory to IJP by using "Copy data (USB
→IJP)" function. (Data is copied from USB memory to IJ printer.)
As for the copy data function, the user mode and the service personnel maintenance
mode are different. When replacing the EZJ133, it is necessary to back up the
unit-specific data, and so put it into the service personnel maintenance mode and then
perform the backup.
-User mode: User data (printing data (Note 1), substitution rules, user patterns)
-Service personnel maintenance mode:
User data (same as above) and unit-specific data (Note 2).
-After replacing the battery on the EZJ133 board, turn on the power of the IJ printer
and set the date and time. Perform set up again if it shows wrong date or time.
(Note. 1) The print data are the print description, the printing specifications, the print line, the print format,
the print condition and the count condition.
(Note. 2) The unit specific data are the ink type, the nozzle diameter and the viscosity calibration data.
In the case where the EZJ133 board is replaced in a state allowing NO backup, follow the
-
procedures below.
[Replacement procedures of EZJ133 board in a state allowing NO back up]
(1) Save the data in USB memory by using "Copy data (IJP→USB)" function.
(Data is copyed from IJ Printer to USB memory.)
(2) Turn the main power switch ON.
(3) Open the control panel and remove the connector cables of CN2 and CN4 on
EZJ134 board.
(4) Remove EZJ134 board (with fixing metal plate attached ). Note that remove the
wires clamped on the back of the metal plate, and then removed connectors of CN1
and CN3.
(5) Remove connector cables and batteries onEZJ133 board and EZJ125 board.
(6) Remove EZJ125 board. When EZJ130 bord is mounted, remove it as well.
(7) Remove the hexagonal metal spacers (2pcs) and the fixing screw (1 piece) from
EZJ125 board.
(8) Remove the protective cover for high voltage power supply, and then remove
EZJ133 board.
(9) Remove the model key which is installed on old EZJ133 board and re-install it on
the new EZJ133 board to be replaced.
(10) Mount EZJ134 board (with fixing metal plate attached). Note that clamp the wires
of CN1 and CN3 on the back of the metal plate, and then connect the connectors
of CN1 and CN3.
(11) Attach protective cover for high voltage power supply. And then connect the
connector cables and batteries on EZJ133 board and EZJ125 board.
(12) Mount EZJ134 board (with fixing metal plate attached). Note that clamp the wires
of CN1 and CN3 on the bac of metal plate, and then connect the connectors of
CN1 and CN3.
(13) Insert system data USB memory and turn the main power switch ON. And then
download is executed automoticlly.
(14) After the download is completed, execute "System reset" on the second screen of
"Maintenance menu" of Service personal maintenance mode.
(15) Confirm "Serial number" on "Unit information" screen. And then confirm the data
