(11) Confirm "Serial number" on the "Unit information" screen and then confirm the
date and time.
(12) Recover the data from the back up memory by using "Copy data (USB→IJP)"
function.
(Data is from USB memory to IJ printer)
For backup data function, the data type to be saved is different between the service
personnel maintenance mode and user maintenance mode. When replacing the EZJ128
board, change the mode to the service personnel maintenance mode and then perform
the backup.
-User mode: User data (print data (Note 1), substitution rules, user patterns)
-Service personnel maintenance mode:
User data (same as above) and unit-specific data (Note 2).
After replacing the EZJ128 board, turn ON the power of the IJ printer and confirm the
date and time. If the date and time displayed is not correct, adjust the setting again.
(Note. 1) "Print data" means the data of print description, print specification, the print line,
print format, calendar and count.
(Note. 2) Unit-data means ink type, nozzle diameter and viscosity calibration data.
When the EZJ128 board is replaced with having NO backup available, follow the
-
procedures below.
[Replacement procedures of EZJ128 board with NO back up is available]
