Was the makeup
cartridge bottle
installed, whose
net contents were
substantially low?
No
Go to "Level sensor confirmation" screen
and check if all sensors in Makeup reservoir
work properly.
Turn OFF
power.
Any disconnection or
poor connection is found
at CN13 connector on
EZJ133 board or CN1 or
CN4 connector on
EZJ138 board?
No
Does the connection
harness have
electrical continuity?
Yes
Replace the Sensor block
of Makeup reservoir.
Replace EZJ133 board.*1
When this alarm appears, the makeup cannot be replaced till the message "Makeup Low" warning
is displayed on the screen.
(*1): When you replace EZJ133 board, refer to [Replacement procedures of EZJ133
board] in "3.3.1 EZJ133 board (MPU board)".
[Caution]
Be sure to check that there is no wrong connection of harnesses by referring to
[Connector numbers and Identifying method of harnesses] in "3.3.20 Electrical
Connection Diagram".
When the message "Makeup

Low"warning shows up, install
the makeup cartridge bottle
which is more than half full.
Yes
Remove the connector once and
reconnect it
No
Replace the connection harness.
Restart IJ printer and
go to "Level sensor

confirmation" screen
and check if all sensors
in Makeup reservoir
work properly.
