Select [Paper Size] and [Paper
Source] in the printer driver and

start printing.

This is an example for the printing that
images are printed by a plain paper of B5 size
in Tray1, using [Word Pad] for Windows, and
[Text Edit] for Mac OS X.
• Setting equivalent to Media weight and Media
Note!
type is available for [Media weight] of the printer
driver. As for the default of [Media Weight] in
[Printer Setting], it is not required to set a value
since a value set by the operation panel of the
printer is used.
When the setting is changed in the printer driver,
you need to specify every time you print.
• The screen or procedure may differ depending on
an application. If there are some printing prob-
lems, refer to "Changing a default of the printer
driver" of "Use Print Features" (Advanced Guide).
• This section uses Windows XP Home Edition as
an example for the Windows Printer Driver's
screen and description.
A tray in which specified paper is loaded is
Memo
automatically selected when [Automatically Select]
is selected in [Paper Source]. Refer to "Automatic
Tray Selection" (Advanced Guide) for details.
For Those Using Windows PS Printer
Driver (B840dn only)

Select [Page Setup] of the [File] menu.

Select [B5] in [Size], and [Portrait] or
[Landscape] in [Orientation]. Click [OK].

Select [Print] of the [File] menu.

Click [Preferences].

Select [Tray1] in [Paper Source] of the
[Paper/Quality] tab.

Click [Advanced] and select [Printer
Setting] in [Media Type]. Then, click [OK].

Click [OK].

Click [Print] in the "Print" screen and
start to print.
