Attach additional memory.

Before putting the additional memory out
of its bag, eliminate static electricity from
it by contacting the bag with metal.

Slide the metal plate door in the direction
of the arrow to open it.

Insert the additional memory diagonally into
its slot.

Press the additional memory toward the
printer to fix it.

Close the Door and slide to the direction
of the arrow.

Secure the side cover with the (two)
screws.

Close the front cover.

Close the multi-purpose tray.

Reconnect the power cord and
printer cable to the printer, and
turn on the power.

Reinstall the additional memory when the operator
panel displays [SERVICE CALL 031: ERROR].
