WRITING METHOD
USB ID
The method of writing USB ID differs according to the condition of the main board. Referring to the following table, figure out what to do depending on the
condition. For the operational procedure, follow the instructions shown by the program.
Condition of Main Board
Communication between PC and the Main

Communication between PC and the Main
Board is possible.
Store optional ID
CONFIRMING THE WRITTEN ID
When writing USB ID is finished, print a status sheet to confirm that the serial number printed on the sheet is identical to that on the label attached to the printer. (Refer to
Configuration Status Sheet" on page

Check of the previous ID
The previous ID can be confirmed by a status sheet
or any other sheet that has already been printed out.
There is no way to confirm the previous ID.
(The previous ID can be retrieved from the
previous Main Board)
