Adding Static Route
Step 1 Enter destination network address.
Step 2 Enter subnet mask.
Step 3 Enable Use Gateway IP Address and enter IP
address.
Step 4 Select use interface.
Step 5 Click Save/Apply to apply the settings.
Removing Static Route
Select Remove in the table, and click Remove to apply the
settings.

Background
The routing information protocol (RIP), as it is more commonly
called, is one of the most enduring of all routing protocols. RIP
is also one of the more easily confused protocols because a
variety of RIP-like routing protocols proliferated, some of which
even used the same name! RIP and the myriad RIP-like
protocols were based on the same set of algorithms that use
