Malfunction
Leaky hose pump housing.
Leaky surgical hose.
The motor shuts off during treat‐
ment without an error message.
The motor makes a grinding noise. The motor is not correctly plugged
The motor runs out of true.
No light on the handpiece and angle
piece.
Cause
The coolant pump is set too high.
The pump hose is too long.
The pump hose is worn.
Worn or defective coolant hose.
The wrong handpiece or angle
piece is mounted or set on the de‐
vice.

The light is not turned on.

Remedy
▶ Adjust the coolant flow.

▶ To avoid dripping, keep the
pump hose length after the
pump as short as possible.
▶ Exchange the pump hose.

▶ Shorten the hose by approx. 6
mm.
▶ Adjust the right handpiece or an‐
gle piece on the device.

the housing.
▶ Firmly screw on the motor hose
to the motor.
▶ Turn the machine off and on.
▶ Check if all the connections and
couplings are firmly seated.
▶ Firmly insert the motor hose into
the housing.
▶ Firmly screw on the motor hose
to the motor.
▶ Turn the machine off and on.
▶ Check if all the connections and
couplings are firmly seated.
▶ Turn on the light.
