Monitor terminals refer to terminals that log in to the switch through the VTY user interface.

Enter system view.

Name the channel
with a specified
channel number.

Configure an output
channel for the
monitor terminal.
5.
Configure an output
rule for the monitor
terminal.
6.
Configure the
timestamp format.
7.
Return to user view.
