For Latitude, the North radio button is selected by default. For Longitude, West is selected
by default.
For some GPS receivers, the desired display format DD(D) MM.MMM is the default, or you
can set the display to this desired format. If you cannot set the display to the desired format,
you will have to convert the displayed values or use a different GPS receiver. DD(D)
represents degrees in one or two digits (if latitude) or one to three digits (if longitude).

Table 4: Converting GPS display formats

display formats you might encounter to the format required by the installation software. You
only need to use these calculations if your GPS tool does not display latitude and longitude
in the desired format, DD(D) MM.MMM. The table explains how to convert the minutes
portion of the displayed value. In all cases enter degrees in whole numbers—1, 2, or 3 digits,
as displayed on the GPS receiver.
