POSSIBLE CAUSES
Short·circuited ignition coil winding (on
lest bed, emmeter shows absorption to
to be higher than normal).
Grounded Ignition coil primary winding
(current flow does not stop even with
open contact breaker points).
Break In Ignition coil primary winding
(current does not Ilow thru coli).
Too wIde or too narrow contacls gap.
Contact breaker arm seized on pin.
Short·circuited condensor.
REMEDIES
Replace ignition call.
Replace ignition call.
Replace Ignillon call.
Adjusl to correct gap and tighten down
screw whIch secures fixed contact pta·
Ie. If necessary replace conlacts se\.
Remove conlact breaker arm. Clean
pin and lubricate with a few drops of
suitable oil. If necessary replace con-
tact breaker arm.
Replace condensor.
