This starter motor
is
provided
with
an electro·
·
magnetic
control

which is
secured
by means
of
bolts to a suitable housing in support casting
(26). Inside
such housing are located
the
por-
tion
of keeper

which protrudes
from
the
electromagnet. the
return spring
(1)
and the
ievEr
(27) which
controls the advancement
of
the
pinion. Solenoid switch is provided
with
big
terminals
to be respectively connected to
the battery and to one end of
field winding.
Solenoid switch is also provided
