Never let the engine run in an enclosed area. If you do work in an enclosed area, make sure to use a smoke-extraction system.

Draining oil To drain out the oil follow these steps. Remove the fork stem. Tighten the removed stem in a vice fit- ted with aluminium jaw caps in order to avoid damaging them.

Drain out all the oil inside the stem. NOTE FOR EASY DRAINAGE OF THE OIL INSIDE THE PUMPING MEMBER ROD, PRESS THE STEM IN THE WHEEL HOLD- ER SLEEVE TO PUMP OIL OUT.

Check the bushing on the bearing tube; remove it and replace it if damaged or worn.
