Symptom
Main burner will not
come on when
required even though
the drive motor is
heard to be operating
Motor not functioning
when buttons are
pressed
Remote Control will
turn fire off but will
not turn on
A prolonged audible
signal is heard when
attempting to light the
fire with the remote
handset (Total Control
Model only).
NOTE: For any spare parts that are required, please contact either your supplier
or the manufacturer directly. You will need the model name i.e. Model Number,
the gas type, the type of control and serial number.
Only approved parts should be used.
Remote Control, Total Control Models
Cause
Ignition knob incorrectly set
a) Flat hand set battery
(Remote Control)
b) Flat batteries in receiver
unit (Remote Control)
c) Flat batteries in battery
holder (Trim Switch and
Optimum Control)
Incorrect hand set operation
ON/OFF switch on control valve
in OFF position.
Remedy
Set the ignition knob at the
9 o'clock position.
Replace battery (1 X PP3)
Replace all 4 AA batteries
Replace all 4 AA batteries
Ensure two buttons are
pressed to turn on
Turn the switch to ON
position
