How to Load Media
Introduction
This section explains all of the actions associated with loading a roll of media when
the Roll Media Option is installed. It also specifies in detail how to perform
particular actions.
Load Media
The following actions are associated with loading media:
Load Media Roll On Media Shaft And Install Shaft in the Supply position

Load Empty Core On Media Shaft And Install Shaft the Take-Up Position
2.
Thread media
3.
Initialize Roll Media To Prepare For Printing

Select Existing Or Create New Media Parameters

When to do
The section explains how to load media when none is currently loaded. If media is
loaded, first read the section How to Cut and Unload Media.
Required tool
5mm hex key
Note: Check that the media is evenly rolled on the core with no bumps or extrusions.
Also check that it is aligned to avoid telescoping (lateral displacement) as it winds
onto the take-up shaft.
