CHECKING THE THERMO SWITCH

Check:
• Continuity
Out of specification
Thermo switch continuity temperature:
Pink (P) – Black (B)

87 °C (188.6 °F)
b
67 °C (152.6 °F)

Measuring steps:
(1)Suspend thermostat in a vessel.
(2)Place reliable thrmometer in a water.
(3)Heat water slowly.
(4)Observe thermometer, while stirring
water continuity
CHECKING OVER HEAT WARNING
LAMP
Check:
• LED (Light emitting diode) lighting
No lighting
Battery voltage:
1.5 V
Yellow lead
Pink lead
CAUTION
Use only originally pen light battery (1.5 V),
other than batteries such as alkaline
battery/higher voltage one will be burnt the
diode.
NOTE:
LED has an direction for electrical current.
Therefore try reverse connection if there is
no lighting.
